Talks
A talk that starts an honest conversation.
Belinda’s talks invite women to recognise the hidden sentences and patterns influencing how they speak, make decisions and respond to opportunities, and to consider what they might choose differently.
Designed primarily for women, the talks work well at conferences, network events, universities, community gatherings and within organisations. The underlying themes can also be adapted for mixed-gender teams and leadership groups.

The Sentences We Live By
We often believe that our experiences shape us. But it is what we tell ourselves about those experiences that can become the sentences we live by.
In this honest and engaging talk, Belinda uses personal stories, humour and guided reflection to explore how familiar sentences can influence women’s confidence, communication, boundaries and choices.
Women are invited to notice one of their own sentences, consider where it may have begun and leave with practical ways to question and challenge it when it appears again.
The talk is typically 45–60 minutes and can be delivered in person or online. Its emphasis and examples can be adapted around the audience, event and intended outcome.

Quotation begins: I felt very connected during the talk and in tune with Belinda and the other members of the audience. I think it was impactful to us all and curated a sense of camaraderie in the room. Quotation ends.
Quotation begins: The sentence analogy which runs throughout is so meaningful. I know I will think back to her words every time one of my sentences shows its face. Belinda addressed a ‘touchy’ subject and managed to make it compelling and positive for all in the room. Every woman should hear this message and take note. Quotation ends.
