Workshops

Space to reflect, talk and practise.

Belinda creates interactive workshops combining honest reflection, guided discussion and practical activities. Participants are invited to recognise familiar patterns, explore different responses and leave with something they can use in their work and lives.

Designed primarily for women, each workshop can be shaped around the audience, setting and outcome required. Sessions can also be adapted for wider teams and leadership groups where appropriate.

FEATURED WORKSHOP

We all have sentences that appear so often they begin to sound like facts:

“I can’t do that.”

“What if I fail?”

“It has to be perfect.”

“I say yes to everyone else.”

“I’m not good enough.”

“I’ll do it later.”

In this interactive workshop, Belinda invites participants to notice one of the sentences influencing their confidence, communication, choices or boundaries.

Through guided reflection, facilitated conversation and practical activities, participants consider where that sentence may have begun, the pattern it may have created and how they could respond differently when it appears again.

PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Identify a familiar sentence that may be limiting them.
  • Consider how it influences decisions, confidence, communication or boundaries.
  • Recognise a pattern connected to that sentence.
  • Practise simple questions and responses they can use afterwards.
  • Choose one realistic action to take forward.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Participation without pressure.

These are not lectures with a few questions added at the end. Belinda combines stories, reflection, discussion and practical activities throughout the session.

People are invited to participate in ways that feel appropriate to them. No one is expected to share personal experiences publicly, and there is no assumption that one approach will suit every person in the room.

The aim is to create a warm, respectful environment where serious subjects can be explored honestly, with room for laughter and lighter moments, so people leave with practical ideas rather than only a good conversation.

SHAPED AROUND YOUR PEOPLE

Different rooms need different conversations.

WOMEN’S NETWORKS AND COMMUNITIES

Warm, inclusive sessions giving women time to reflect, connect through shared experience and consider what meaningful change could look like, personally and professionally.

ORGANISATIONS AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMMES

Practical sessions exploring confidence, communication, decision-making, boundaries and the patterns that can prevent people from contributing fully. Although much of Belinda’s work centres on women’s experiences, the principles are also relevant to wider teams and leadership groups.

BESPOKE BRIEFS

The content, examples and activities can be adapted around the people attending, the time available and what the organisation would like participants to leave thinking or doing differently.

FORMAT

Most in-person workshops run for three to four hours, allowing time for reflection, discussion and practical activities. Shorter online sessions can be developed around a more focused outcome.

Group size, accessibility requirements and the balance between individual reflection and group conversation will be discussed as part of the brief.
